The State of Kansas will pay for up to 240 hours of work experience and job coaching.

- KC Special Recruits will find a great work experience for you.
- Get paid, learn valuable job skills, and showcase your abilities for a future employer.
- Work 12 hours – 40 hours per week.
- Job coach will train you on your position.
- You will learn: hands-on job skills, customer service skills, time management skills, effective business communication, and good personal hygiene practices.
For Employers…GREAT News!
- The state of Kansas will pay for the first 240 hours of employment plus provide all insurance including liability.
- Future potential employees trained to your specifications at no cost.
- You may hire the student directly at any time. Your participation, however, does not obligate you to hire your summer student.
- Provide company employees the opportunity to learn & grow from diversity.
- Help very special workforce recruits with their employment journey.
